Cotton Branch Animal Sanctuary, Leesville, South Carolina

Tucker and his mother arrived at Cotton Branch perilously malnourished and neglected. Their condition was critical; tragically efforts to save Tucker’s mother failed. Tucker was so emaciated you could see his bones clearly, but after determined care at the sanctuary, he was able to recover and is now a healthy, happy, and social greeter of visitors. He is so social that he also likes to share visitors’ belongings along with their experience, and he has been known to snatch articles of clothing or keys out of curiosity.
